Homelessness Increased 40% in Two Years

A new study shows Alameda County homelessness increased nearly 40% since 2015. More than half of respondents cited economic hardship as the primary reason for their homelessness. With median rents rising 25% and median income only rising 5%, neighbors, friends, and family are being priced out of their homes at an alarming rate.
